Constantin Flondor - one of the knights of the old Flondor family - has two passions: geometry and poetry. Coincidentia oppositorum: Constantin Flondor's Snowflake is nothing but poetry that flows in geometric rigor. Poetry nourished by the geometric rigor that configures it!
Poet by nature, Constantin Flondor is geometrically equal to himself and his art, in a way that evokes Kant: "Two things fill the mind with ever new and increasing admiration and awe, the more often and steadily we reflect upon them: the starry heavens above me and the moral law within me." (Immanuel Kant, Critique of Practical Reason).

The woven structure of the snowflake is the ineffable - God's radiance. What else could the snowflake be but a subtle, poetic sifting? A Byzantine cross, small representative of the Universe...

In the Şirnea lands, the performative approach of the five NOIMA painters - to mark the hill with a sign of a snowflake - is a reverence dedicated to their mentor: Constantin Flondor. They chose to speak about gratitude and joy through their hands and thoughts. The distinctive note of this exhibition is a white serenity.
