On Saint Dumitru’s night, namely, 2014 October the 25th., five artists, belonging to the NOIMA Group were enjoying some quality time in the village of Şirnea and were musing about future plans and perspectives.
A spontaneous spark of creativity followed: they decided to go out in the night and paint The Sacred Fire of Sumedru.
This initial spark was later carried away in the private workshops and scattered all around: from Timişoara to Braşov, from Deva to Houston. The outcome was more than rewarding: a great variety of studies collected and displayed in Noima FIRE exhibitions and the ideea of Noima anual meetings in the mountains next to the Fire of Sumedru.
